| Bragging Rights. EX-Pres Clinton was photographed with a duck - not because
he is a sportsman but because he wanted to fool a few of our fellow hunters
into voting for him.
State Senator Hollingsworth is a hunter in the same sense that you and I are and
is shown here with the results of a couple of recent hunts that didn't start off
as photo ops. These were private pictures he shared with me as a fellow hunter and had
nothing to do with politics. I just think it's neat that there are some folks in Sacramento
that the rest of us can relate to and it's a good change of pace from always talking
about gun legislation. That's why I asked for permission to share these non-photo
op hunting pictures with you.
Check Assemblyman Jay Lasuer's page in the future - he's also an avid
hunter and I'll see if he'll let me post some of his pictures. Personally, since the Senator
kind of told me to show Jay these pictures so he could see what a REAL pig looks like I think Jay kind
of has to get some pictures on his page too!
I'm sure the Senator will have more on
this page in the future and we will try to get his press releases and anything else

This was a west Texas hunt last week, both were taken within a half hour of each other on 12/15.
The buck was 10 official points, will probably score in the high 140's to low 150's, even with
the two broken G4's (which would have made him 12 points--he's a typical ten point frame with
a couple of kickers.). His left G2 is 11 3/4" long and the bases were 5 3/4 and 5 1/2" around.
The hog was about 250 pounds, (was not weighed) One shot from the 350 rem mag, 180 gr barnes
tsx @3090 fps, no rest, standing. Hog was on a dead run at about 180 yards. Found him stone
dead in that brush when I walked up on it.
(Of course, the one shot was after several misses from both me and another guy. the one
